Consecutive patients (n = 205, January 2015 -June 2021) with available preoperative MRI images, clinical information including PSA, prostate volume, ESUR classification for EPE, histopathological results of MRI-fusion biopsy and RP specimen were included. Validation was performed by receiver operating characteristic analysis and calibration plots. The RM's performance was compared to ESUR criteria.Histopathological T3 stage was detected in 43% of the patients (n = 89); 45% at Essen and 42% at Düsseldorf. Discrimination performance between pT2 and pT3 of the RM in the entire cohort was AUC = 0.86 (AUC = 0.88 at site 1 and AUC = 0.85 at site 2). Calibration was good over the entire probability range. The discrimination performance of ESUR classification alone was comparable (AUC = 0.87).The RM showed good discriminative performance to predict EPE for decision-making for RP as a patient-tailored risk stratification. However, when experienced MRI reading is available, standardized MRI reading with ESUR scoring is comparable regarding information outcome. A main limitation is the potentially limited transferability to other populations because of the high prevalence of EPE in our subgroups. 000293574 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-313$$a313 - Krebsrisikofaktoren und Prävention (POF4-313)$$cPOF4-313$$fPOF IV$$x0 000293574 588__ $$aDataset connected to CrossRef, PubMed, , Journals: inrepo02.dkfz.de 000293574 650_7 $$2Other$$aExtraprostatic extension 000293574 650_7 $$2Other$$aMultiparametric MRI 000293574 650_7 $$2Other$$aPositive surgical margins 000293574 650_7 $$2Other$$aProstate cancer 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aHumans 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aMale 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aProstatic Neoplasms: pathology 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aProstatic Neoplasms: surgery 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aProstatic Neoplasms: diagnostic imaging 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aMultiparametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aRetrospective Studies 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aRisk Assessment 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aMiddle Aged 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aAged 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aNeoplasm Invasiveness 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aProstatectomy: methods 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aPredictive Value of Tests 000293574 650_2 $$2MeSH$$aPreoperative Care: methods 000293574 7001_ $$00009-0000-9472-8956$$aHandke, Analena Elisa$$b1 000293574 7001_ $$0P:(DE-He78)1042737c83ba70ec508bdd99f0096864$$aWiesenfarth, Manuel$$b2$$udkfz 000293574 7001_ $$aAlbers, Peter$$b3 000293574 7001_ $$aAntoch, Gerald$$b4 000293574 7001_ $$aNoldus, Joachim$$b5 000293574 7001_ $$aReis, Henning$$b6 000293574 7001_ $$aCotarelo, Cristina$$b7 000293574 7001_ $$aPreetz, Julia$$b8 000293574 7001_ $$aUmutlu, Lale$$b9 000293574 7001_ $$aIngenwerth, Marc$$b10 000293574 7001_ $$0P:(DE-He78)79897f8897ff77676549d9895258a0f2$$aRadtke, Jan Philipp$$b11$$udkfz 000293574 7001_ $$aHadaschik, Boris$$b12 000293574 7001_ $$aSchimmöller, Lars$$b13 000293574 7001_ $$aKesch, Claudia$$b14 000293574 773__ $$0PERI:(DE-600)1463303-6$$a10.1007/s00345-024-05232-6$$gVol. 42, no. 1, p. 530$$n1$$p530$$tWorld journal of urology$$v42$$x0724-4983$$y2024 000293574 8564_ $$uhttps://inrepo02.dkfz.de/record/293574/files/s00345-024-05232-6.pdf 000293574 8564_ $$uhttps://inrepo02.dkfz.de/record/293574/files/s00345-024-05232-6.pdf?subformat=pdfa$$xpdfa 000293574 909CO $$ooai:inrepo02.dkfz.de:293574$$pVDB 000293574 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)2036810-0$$6P:(DE-He78)1042737c83ba70ec508bdd99f0096864$$aDeutsches Krebsforschungszentrum$$b2$$kDKFZ 000293574 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)2036810-0$$6P:(DE-He78)79897f8897ff77676549d9895258a0f2$$aDeutsches Krebsforschungszentrum$$b11$$kDKFZ 000293574 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-313$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-310$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-300$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$aDE-HGF$$bGesundheit$$lKrebsforschung$$vKrebsrisikofaktoren und Prävention$$x0 000293574 9141_ $$y2024 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0420$$2StatID$$aNationallizenz$$d2023-08-22$$wger 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)3002$$2StatID$$aDEAL Springer$$d2023-08-22$$wger 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)3002$$2StatID$$aDEAL Springer$$d2023-08-22$$wger 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0200$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bSCOPUS$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0300$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bMedline$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0199$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bClarivate Analytics Master Journal List$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1050$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bBIOSIS Previews$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0113$$2StatID$$aWoS$$bScience Citation Index Expanded$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0150$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bWeb of Science Core Collection$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1190$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bBiological Abstracts$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0160$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEssential Science Indicators$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1110$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bCurrent Contents - Clinical Medicine$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0100$$2StatID$$aJCR$$bWORLD J UROL : 2022$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0600$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEbsco Academic Search$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0030$$2StatID$$aPeer Review$$bASC$$d2023-08-22 000293574 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)9900$$2StatID$$aIF < 5$$d2023-08-22 000293574 9201_ $$0I:(DE-He78)C060-20160331$$kC060$$lC060 Biostatistik$$x0 000293574 9201_ $$0I:(DE-He78)E010-20160331$$kE010$$lE010 Radiologie$$x1 000293574 980__ $$ajournal 000293574 980__ $$aVDB 000293574 980__ $$aI:(DE-He78)C060-20160331 000293574 980__ $$aI:(DE-He78)E010-20160331 000293574 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED
