Interaction terms were added to these models to explore moderators. Results are presented as betas (corresponding to Cohen's d effect size).Albeit statistically significant, exercise demonstrated negligible effects on symptoms of depression (β = - 0.11; 95 %K Humans %K Anxiety: therapy %K Anxiety: etiology %K Depression: therapy %K Depression: etiology %K Exercise: psychology %K Randomized Controlled Trials as Topic %K Male %K Female %K Neoplasms: psychology %K Cancer Survivors: psychology %K Middle Aged %K Survivors: psychology %K Exercise Therapy: methods %K Adult %K Anxiety (Other) %K Cancer survivors (Other) %K Depression (Other) %K Distress (Other) %K Exercise (Other) %K Moderators (Other) %F PUB:(DE-HGF)16 %9 Journal Article %$ pmid:40591016 %2 pmc:PMC12213934 %R 10.1007/s00520-025-09646-9 %U https://inrepo02.dkfz.de/record/302865
