In the 'ARTIC' trial, we assessed the incidence of AbE in patients with progressive MM by evaluating the effect of RT on NILs.ARTIC (Abscopal effects in metastasized cancer patients treated with RadioTherapy and Immune Checkpoint inhibition) (ARO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Radiologische Onkologie) 2022-10, DRKS00032390) retrospectively screened clinical records of patients with stage IV MM with PD under ICI. Patients received RT for metastases and had ≥1 NIL outside the RT field (=control lesion). NILs were evaluated according to iRECIST (immune Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors): abscopal response (AR): size reduction ≥30 KW - Humans KW - Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors: therapeutic use KW - Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors: pharmacology KW - Melanoma: radiotherapy KW - Melanoma: pathology KW - Melanoma: therapy KW - Melanoma: drug therapy KW - Male KW - Female KW - Middle Aged KW - Aged KW - Retrospective Studies KW - Adult KW - Aged, 80 and over KW - Abscopal (Other) KW - Immune modulatory (Other) KW - Immunotherapy (Other) KW - RADIOTHERAPY (Other) KW - Solid tumor (Other) KW - Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (NLM Chemicals) LB - PUB:(DE-HGF)16 C6 - pmid:41043856 C2 - pmc:PMC12496099 DO - DOI:10.1136/jitc-2025-012717 UR - https://inrepo02.dkfz.de/record/305087 ER -
