Abstract: Hypoxia is a major driver of tumor aggressiveness and therapy resistance in GBM. In this issue of Immunity, Sattiraju et al. functionally link hypoxia with diminished anti-cancer immunity caused by sequestration of immunosuppressive TAMs and CTLs in pseudopalisades in GBM.
